  1. Short:    GUI'd debugger for OS friendly assembly.

  6. TrapII is a little debugger that runs in a window on the workbench
  7. screen. It's, therefore, really only for assembly programmers who are
  8. programming things that do not take over the OS. (Or experienced
  9. programmers in other languages who are interested in their code at
  10. the machine level)
  11.  
  12. TrapII is only a task stepper. It does not include a disassembler,
  13. assembler, etc... That is so because I already have seperate tools
  14. to do that.

  16. Changes:

  18. 2.04 or higher only. 1.3 and older is ancient history.
  19.  
  20. This version is 680x0, x=0 to 4 safe, cache safe, FPU safe, etc...
  21. This meant changing most of the internal task manipulating code,
  22. but the GUI remained the same.

  24. The GUI is now font sensative, and the window uses the 2.0 zip
  25. gadget instead of the RMB.
  26.  
  27. Unlimited [Next]s, using the ILLEGAL instruction instead of BKPT
  28. because some hardware really had a debugger that was triggered
  29. by BKPT (a friend's GVP board, for example).
